Merry Christmas!!!

Well, I'm a week into Winter Break now, and I don't want to sleep yet (although I should soon, it's already 1:30 AM at the time I started writing this), I just would like to say, Merry Christmas! I actually got Rock Band 2 for the Wii last Wednesday, and it is awesome. Winter Break is going on very well so far, but I feel that I need to make more movies. I am working on a Christmas Special, but it won't be like last year's, as I won't have that much time to come up with and make something that's 9-11 minutes long, so I decided to make it a Mario Short! Don't worry, I promise to make it as great and funny as possible, and Chance already likes it so far! As for the first episode of Super Mario: Atonement... I haven't really been working on it for the last couple of weeks, and I apologize for that. I'll see if I can get the episode done and up on YouTube by the end of the year.

One more thing before I'm done though... you guys probably have heard that Mariobro3828 suddenly closed his YouTube accounts about 2 weeks ago without any sort of trace. Well, I'm glad to announce that he has signed on and talked to me on MSN the last couple of days, his YouTube account is back up as of today, meaning that he is back! However, DO NOT expect him to finish up Shining Legend right now, as he apparently has an extremely busy schedule, mostly school-related, so please don't bug him about that. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, etc., I hope you guys have a good winter break (if you have one) and that you have a good day tomorrow!

My finals are over!

Well, to tell you guys the truth, I think I was getting a bit TOO stressed over my finals, although it was for a good reason. In all, my finals were actually not that difficult. I mean, they weren't easy, but they weren't insanely hard, either. I still have to do one more thing for my English class as part of the final, but I just have to create a poster with 2 other people in a group, so it shouldn't be that bad. I'm really excited for this week, as Winter Break will start for me after school ends on Wednesday, and I will be able to get Rock Band 2 this Friday! =D

Quite a bit of news.

Well, it's finally December. I apologize for not posting on here for a while, but I've been quite busy for a while. The end of the first semester is approaching for me as of the time I'm writing this, and for the next couple of weeks before Winter Break starts, I am going to have quite a bit of work to do as well as finals to take care of (a college final this Friday, December 12 as well as my high school finals the next week). However, the good news is that after that's all over, I have Winter Break for several weeks! =D

That's not it, either. Recently, I began working on....omg... Super Mario: Atonement Episode 1!!! I have figured out enough of the plot to get the series started, but don't expect Episode 1 to be insanely epic, I'm just making it help set up the plot for the rest of the series. However, I don't intend it to be bad, so don't be TOO disappointed. I also might make some sort of Christmas video for this year, but I don't expect it to be a 10 minute long one, probably a Mario Short or something like that.

ShoddyBattle

Well, I've been playing ShoddyBattle a lot recently, and I fucking love it, which means I'm now doing competitive battling again. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ShoddyBattle is a "battling simulator" for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and it is just fucking awesome. Instead of having to endlessly add random friend codes or do all of that EV training, you can create your own team and have it ready in less than an hour, 30 minutes if you're fast, and you can instantly challenge other users to a battle. However, pretty much all of the users that use ShoddyBattle have some degree of skill in the game, and if you have no idea on how to play competitively, you're pretty much screwed. However, there are some websites such as Serebii and Smogon which can help you learn how to play competitively (it helped me). ShoddyBattle is a very awesome program to use, and although it doesn't have all of the animations and stuff like the actual Pokemon games, you'll find that it's probably better worth it to use ShoddyBattle for all of your competitive battling needs rather than using the actual Pokemon game because of how easy it is to create and edit your team and how easy it is to just battle other people. It also has a chatroom which functions a lot like IRC and a leaderboard system as well.

Whoa!

Well, it seems that Machinima liked my latest episode of my Mario Shorts series, because they uploaded it onto their YouTube channel, although I've already put it on YouTube. I had no idea they did this until Megaman765 told me, but I'm extremely happy and excited that they did that!!! My only complaints are that they didn't put the creator's name (me) in the description, and the title is wrong... oh well. It's gotten pretty good feedback, but, like the other Super Mario 64 movies Machinima has put on YouTube, there are a bunch of Halo, WoW, Gears of War, etc. fanboys who think that it's utter shit. They need to fucking realize that Machinima is finally trying something different, and that Halo isn't the only good machinima out there... >_>

Camping

Well, I went camping over the weekend... hopefully for the last time this year, although I had a pretty good time over the weekend. You see, if you didn't know, I went camping a billion times over the summer (I'm not trying to exaggerate. That's what it seemed like to me), and in turn I got VERY tired of it. Anyways, I played Metroid Prime 3 for a bit, but I played Paper Mario a lot and started a new file on Paper Mario 2, so I'll be playing that for the time being.

Super Mario: Corruption on Machinima

Well, I uploaded all 9 of the Corruption episodes onto Machinima's site! I uploaded the first 6 episodes quite a while ago, but I managed to upload the last 3 episodes last night! Unfortunately, I lost some of the original video files for the episodes, so some of them are in worse quality due to the files being downloaded from YouTube. I also uploaded the trailer for Atonement to Machinima.com, and it will be active soon. I will also upload the Dark Omen episodes sometime in the near future, although I had to download episodes 1 and 2 from YouTube because I lost those video files as well when my computer crashed.

Super Mario: Atonement info

Well, since you guys have been all excited about Super Mario: Atonement, I felt that you guys should know more about it, as I haven't really shown that much information about it. In any case, here is some more information about the series:

1.) Atonement will be a direct sequel to Dark Omen, taking place around 2-3 years after Mario and company defeated the Dark Army. It will possibly be the last chapter of the series as well, but don't worry, I'll come up with something else if I am to finish the Super Mario series.

2.) Yes, you did see Solid Snake. He will be a new and major character in Atonement, giving the Super Mario series a Metroid and Metal Gear theme to it. I also plan on adding another major character to the series, although it's someone that I've made up myself.

3.) I might have to put Re-AMPed on hiatus again. I've kind of lost hope in making Episode 20 (although I will release it sometime in the future, don't worry) for now due to how awesome I think that Atonement will be, and I think that I'm better known for making my adventure/drama series rather than my bloopers now.

4.) I'm not sure on how many episodes long Atonement will be. I do plan on making it at least as long as Dark Omen, but I don't want to make it TOO long.

5.) I understand that Luigi didn't seem to have that big of a role in Dark Omen, so to make up for that, I plan on making Luigi a very important character in Atonement. Who knows, you might actually see Weegee as well! =O

Well, that's all the information I can think of off of the top of my head right now, and now you guys know a little bit more about my upcoming series. If I have any more updates to let you guys know about, then I'll post them in the future.
